The Proposed Association for Translators & Interpreters in Kenya is an idea that was born on St. Jerome's day celebrations in Nairobi on 14 October 2009. Members of Tamarind Linguists' Forum proposed appointed a Steering Comittee to explore the viability of establishing the body and report back ,on the way forward. The steering committee members are:
Fred Omondi, Salome Nduku, Deo Gumba, Fatma Zohra and Theophan Marube.
This blog is meant to update members and other linguists interested in the work of the SC as they undertake the noble task.
